I specialize in creative collaborations, a form of editing that strives for impact through use of imagery and vivid writing.

Co.Inc.E:d'Ink edits with literary intent. Of course, this reach for excellence requires a little more time, but the result is more enduring. We will work together on your document (collaborate), but the final piece will be in your voice, and go out under your name.

Co.Inc.E:d'Ink is best for you if you want a rewrite, but I will be happy to work with you if a standard edit is what you need.

Listed below are the two levels of support I provide, the services included at each level, and the rates charged.

Edit: Includes check for spelling, punctuation, and grammar (will correct for clarity, conciseness, and consistency)

Will amend and polish for optimum readability

and effectiveness

Will correct for active over passive voice

Will correct awkward, or ambiguous phrasing,

style, logic, and transition errors

Will promote a seamless and fluent story flow

Will correct for redundancy (overuse of words,

irrelevant characters, overstated theme, or

plotline)

Will edit for elegance and economy of

of the original work, as well as the time and

Typically, the edited document is shorter than the original. I will go over your work several times in order to ensure that it is as succinct and forceful as good editing can make it. Therefore, the word count for determining fees will be taken from the original.

The time that you spend on creating a quality document will mean a better price for you.

I will be happy to provide a sample editing of five pages for book-length projects. For short stories, papers, etc. (under 25 pages), I will edit up to 20% of your work at no charge.

I will quote a price after reviewing the length, and quality of your writing as presented in the original.

There is a minimum fee of $50 (USD) for editing documents under 1,750 words (approximately 7 pages).

The minimum fee is $85 (USD) for rewrites under 1,750 words.

One-half of the fee is due when the contract is signed. (No contract is required for charges under $500 USD.) The balance is payable upon completion of the project, and before the document is released.

Payment is in US Dollars, and may be made in the form of a money order, a personal or certified check, or through Western Union's convenient payment service, (see below). There is an additional 3% charge for this service.
